Since PH is an issue for casings, why not prepare a 10 millimolar phosphate buffer solution out of dihydrogen phosphate in distilled water for use in all casings (i.e. for misting, solvating casing, dunking before casing...ect.)By using a phosphate buffer you could consistently control or keep the PH at a certain number that you deem optimal +/- .01 . Just a thought what do ya'll think? Ohh and the ammount of NaH2PO4 needed is a simple dimensional analysis problem. Ensuring the solution is at the target PH would either require a PH meter or a bit more indepth analytical chemistry (just algebra really).
