Intro

Well I have been lurking for well on 2 years now. Just decided to reg. and introduce myself. I live in the mid Atlantic area. Came to this site originally strictly for shroom info. Been here ever since. I don't really want this to be too lame of an intro so I will keep it short and sweet.

I am a reformed deadhead, :tongue:

, followed for roughly 10-15 shows in the early 90's. Been into mind altering substances since about the age of 17. I guess that means I have been into this scene for a long time. I just turned 30, :eek:

and life is looking grand. I have a a great Girlfriend, of going on 7 years, great dog, Bulldog,. A horrible job that pays me too much. And an outlook on life that could best be described as free of lesions and ticks. I say reformed dead head because I eat sleep and breath the world of punk and hardcore from about 98 to present day. Don't hate me for it. :wink:

SO please be kind to the shroomery noob and if you are willing, let me hear some rambling about yourself.

Aye, I was a lurker for some time, it's a bit of a bad habit of mine to be honest. I guess I would rather absorb for a while to feel comfortable then dive in and see if I sink or float. :smile:

And to clarify, for my original post now seems a bit abrupt when I re-read it, I have no ill feelings towards any type of music, person, persona so to speak. I just am in a different place than in my younger years. Hell one of my best friends is a huge hippy and I love him :smile:

Fun times = taking two lunatic hippies to a Soulfly show and them loving every minute of it. As did I.

Well actually I did register a long way back. Never posted with the name, and can't even remember what the name was...something about sound I think. Honestly I was content with lurking. I have accumulated alot of information in that time, have got a somewhat hazy glimpse into some members personality, but that's about it.

Like I said I like to wait until I feel the water is JUST right. And tonight it was. :stoned:

But to face facts I do wish I had gotten involved and perhaps become a part of this community much earlier. I think it is a very addictive place, and could only become more-so once I start to contribute something. I mean besides non-sensical long winded introductions that really tell you nothing about myself, and barely anything about my pseudo name on Ye ol' interweb. :wink:

Perhaps I should have stopped at that first bowl. Laterz.
