I need a second opinion-or more!

I was swore to, that a little mycelium on the stems (using cakes) meant that the humidity is too high...so I lowered it a little-I have an ultra-sonic with 4 bottles, and it's on a timer that's on for 15 min, off for 1 hr 30 min (it was 1 hr 15 min)...now, after the first flush, the cakes are showing spots of blue, which I understand to mean thirst(?!?)...anyway, I need opinions for my plan of action. Also, by harvesting a flush, does this mean I'm supposed to take off every mushroom, even the little premature ones and pinheads as soon as the big ones start breaking their veils? And one more thing, I drilled holes and inserted straws last night, filled them with water...it actually leaked a little around where the straw protrudes, this may be normal, I don't know-please share any useful information you may have! Thank you!

One last thing I just thought of-the little shrooms with black heads, as long as they don't grow much over a long period of time, are aborts? Should they be picked? And should I just pick'em when they turn black, not even waiting to see stunted growth? Thanks...
