While I feel like I'm ready to let mushrooms teach me about myself again, for the first time in a long time, LSD will always be my muse.

Heh. It sure is.
I always think of the two in terms of two analogies. I think of like...the membrane around my soul, and I feel like mushrooms make me focus inwards whereas LSD widens the pores and allows for a clearer interface with the energy and flow around me. Mushrooms put you in touch with that too, but through a different channel that I find to be very turbulent at times..
The other analogy is that tripping is a river...and with mushrooms, you're in the river, being washed along, pushed side to side, like riding the rapids without a canoe and trying to manage. And with acid, I feel like I'm surfing the rapids.

I'm a swimmer.
I agree with your assessment... I just like body surfing, I guess.

To each their own.
I'm ready to get comfortable with swimming again...soon soon soon. I'd like to brew a 2.2 gram cup of tea.

Mushrooms for me. They always make for a profound experience resulting in an ultimate truth of one form or another. I always feel fantastic following a mushroom trip, both physically and mentally. Shrooms are a smooth sailing ride for me.
Also, my eyesight and coordination seem much more in harmony after a mushroom trip. Clear, sharp vision and being more in touch with my body. It could be my imagination, but I feel that there are many undiscovered neurological benefits to psilocybin use.

For me I like LSD more but only partly due to the trip. I think alot of it for me has to do with the novelty factor of LSD that makes me nostalgic about it. It's like I can grow mushrooms anytime I want for the rest of my life but LSD is much more rare. It could just dry up or me not know the right people and dissappear for years or forever who knows. I honestly almost gave up hope on ever finding acid again after not hearing about it for 2-3 years during the last drought. If both were redilly availabe I wonder how this pole would be different?

Diver, I agree with you on the clearer sharper vision thing. The day after my trip my one buddy (has a weak glasses perscription) said that he felt like he was seeing 20/20. The rest of us had to agree with him.

The only time I ever really ROCKED somebody at beer pong was when I was tripping face on 3.5g at a party last month. The ball arced in the air, landed in the cup, then left my hand. It was really weird, like the Force or Chi or something. Too bad I was just playing a beer pong game at the time and not doing something more productive like, I dunno, making world peace or something.

Wow that's really weird that you mentioned that. I was tripping on a little more than 4g of mushrooms one time while playing foosball, and I was phenomenal! I have done this twice and both times the mushrooms significantly improved my foosball skills. I was totally impressed.

LSD.
Mushrooms have their place though, for me that is a much less frequent place I want to go.

i use them for different things, but i have to choose acid. acid always gives me immense trips; its everything i want from a psychedelic.
mushrooms are great but they're harder to deal with in big doses.
with shrooms, i'm like "wow man, i'm tripping...", acid is like "yay, i'm tripping!".
