Mix too wet
    #4331472 - 06/24/05 08:54 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

standard verm/brown rice mix...

different water amounts used in different jars...if some are too wet, and mycellium growth has stalled (at ~70%), is there anyway to salvage them? besides taking off lid or turning upside down?

Same thing has happened to me, although i dunno if they stalled as yet still bit early, but can u say mix them up with mainly good jars and stick em in a casin or will the moist sections of verm/brf likely to lead to contams, so therefore done use the cakes at all in a casin if its not 100% colonised?

thanks

Take them out. Cut out the uncolonized parts. Then case them.
