    #4329871 - 06/23/05 09:03 PM (11 years, 5 months ago)

Do air filters REALLY work? I just got mine in, I got a Enviracaire 60000 Tower Air Purifier with IFD Filter and I think it is working BUT it could just be in my mind? I think I can see better and feal fresh and the room looks,.... for lack of a better turm "sharp." dose any one know if they work? Or how to tell if they work? Or am I just a nut?

Is that a deionizer? They work best in rooms with no carpets, lots of surfaces. They cause all the mold spores in the air to get trapped on the metal pan "filter" in the unit, and everything else in the air to fall onto the surfaces in the room, so you can wipe everything up off the counters and clean it easily.

Augustin was just saying that what theremix said was spanish..he bumped his own post saying nada (as in no replies), not that the unit=nada.
