Ive been listening to Godsmack's acoustic album and i really like it. so i was wondering if any one could recomend some other rock bands that have good acoustic stuff. :jamming:

i've not listened to it, but I know sevendust made a live acoustic album (which I guess I'll download now just to check it out). If you like the godsmack thing you might like that.

The new Foo Fighters album is two disc, one electric and one acoustic, and it's excellent.

for acoustic rock, nothing really beats led zeplin's acoustic stuff.

Check out The String Quartet's Tribute To Incubus Vols. 1 and 2, Tribute to Queens Of The Stone Age, and Tribute to Chevelle albums.

They're not "acoustic" exactly, but it is REALLY cool to hear some of this rock being played on strings. Some of them sound better than the originals, IMHO.

i hate almost all the bands mentioned in this thread so far.

other than alice in chains and of course, led zeppelin.

check out this band called Floater.. they have an acoustic cd out that is really good, and they play acoustic shows all the time.
