"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"
"People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."
It won't be easy to beat the current record unless you have a team of drivers.
The latest record of which I am aware is less than five days. I don't know what the record is for a solo driver, though --
"When two hot-off-the-assembly-line 1998 Lincoln Navigators crossed the finish line July 14 after 7,344 nonstop miles, a new record was established. Champion race driver Billy Edwards and his team of five drivers bested by 12.5 hours the Guinness Record of driving through all 48 contiguous states. The event, dubbed the Lincoln Navigator TransAmerica Challenge '97, began on July 9, in Kittery, Maine, and ended 114 hours, 46 minutes and 14 seconds later in New Buffalo, Mich. The previous record, set in 1991, was verified at 127 hours, 15 minutes."
