They were great this year at Bonnaroo. Played "Dear Prudence". Great stuff.

listening to 'Hill Country Girl' on 'Live from Austin City Limits Music Festival' right now - some guy gave me the disc while walking to Coventry last summer. one of my favourite bluegrass bands, for sure!

i have a friend who plays mandolin in Greensky Bluegrass and he is very resentful of Yonder Mountain's mandolin player - accusing him of using cocaine to play so ungodly fast!

i saw them in april and they put on a rocking show

the most memorable songs were covers of "crazy train" by ozzy and "girlfriend's better" by the talking heads, and of course an all-time classic, "keep on goin"

i cant wait to see them again in 2 weeks for the big summer classic. i can either see sci or ymsb ... not a tough choice for me

I first heard them on hatta's show on Shroomery Radio. It was a live version of their song "Two Hits and the Joint Turned." It was one of my favorite discoveries from Shroomery Radio.

Are you serious?! I missed that song! Ratdog played it at Bonnaroo, too. What a coincidence......or was it?

They definitely rock the bluegrass, though. I loved them doing Good Bye Blue Skies, on Mountain tracks vol.2. It was done in a single mic style. Smoking!
