hypothetical question

If the election were happening now, as opposed to last november, do you think Bush would still have a shot? The war on Iraq is looking crappier to lots of people, and he pissed a lot of people off with the whole retirement age. I would venture to say that he would not have a chance.

i think you'd be right. A lot of things came out RIGHT after the election was over; US troops were pulled back in a dangerous way from a strike until Bush won, tapes where he explicitly admits to using illegal drugs and having a devious plan to win the white house and play the nation were released, not to mention lots of other similar things.

Then again, Kerry was pathetic. I was still upset that he lost though ( his policies sucked, but repoops would just filibuster major stuff anyway. The important part was fixing relations with the world- Bush = anti-world according to the world )

Indeed, Kerry was possibly one of the worst candidates for the democrats. What the hell were the democratic voters thinking when they chose him to run?
