.... And some people's auras I can barely see! Any opinions as to why this is? I was sitting in class last week, and this former student stopped by to give us all a little pep talk. So I am sitting there listening to her blab, and she steps to the side and there is a mass of white energy left where she was standing; I begin to notice it all around her at this point. This woman has to be one of the most dedicated people I have ever seen. My theory is that people that devote a lot of their energy to other people/helping people/being unselfish with their energy have more radiant auras than people that are selfish/stuck up/ etc. This woman mentioned that she is the mother of a 'special needs' child. Which makes me think that she devotes a lot of time to people other than herself, hence, devoting a lot of (aural) energy to people other than herself, which would theoretically create a stronger aura(IE, she is giving away a LOT of energy) around her than most people have(assuming that most people care for themselves more than other people). Any thoughts on this??? It makes sense to me, at least. I'm a little buzzed right now, so I hope it made sense. Peace...

Funny you say that because i've seen near enough the exact same thing as you descibed, and on a teacher too. Your theory makes a lot of sense. Cool :)

It is directly related to the chakras.
The chakras have the ability to give or recieve energy. When we give our energy to help others, it strengthens us, when energy is pulled or sucked from the chakras, it weakens us.
People who are not very developed spiritually may be open to negative forces. Negative energy will come into their chakras, causing them to feel worse or act in even more negative ways.
Evolved people have more energy flowing out of their chakras than in. Their chakras look like a flower in bloom. As they become more developed, the Kundalini energy radiating from their chakras blends with divine energy, continues to radiate out, then curves back in through the hands and feet, bringing a mixture of these energies into them.
These radiant energies are what forms the aura. The color of the aura is dependant on what chakras level that person is most developed at and is most open.
So basically, a person who gives energy more often than not will have a very intense aura because of the balanced chakras and flow of kundalini energy.
People who like to suck energy are easy to spot because of their apparent lack of aura. These people need energy though, and it is good to give it to them, where both will gain from it, instead of having them suck your energy.

Usually when people are depressed, thier aura sucks in...
My aura (i've been told) changes colors rapidly. What would cause that?

Changes colors rapidly? I've never heard of that...it could mean that all of your chakras open and close at intervals, which means you should probably meditate and balance them out. I'm taking a stab in the dark here, but that's my best guess.

you can acctully see auras around people... i dont get that i seee nothing and im a very spiritul person :)

Many people that have experimented with hallucinogenics will become sensitive to astral and ephemeral energy. Seeing peoples bio-electrical and bio-spiritual auras is one of the first things that become evident. If developed and trained one can become a very powerful magickian, spiritual advisor and healer. If you can see peoples auras consistantly and accurately, seek magickal training.
If you do I recommend that you go to a library and start reading as much information as possible on magick, non-christian spirituality, and far eastern philosophy and martial arts. You will develop into a incredible powerful person. Although it is a lonely and sometimes boring road in life, but the rewards are well worth it.

At times I've been equated as being an astral vampire. By more than one person. It seems that I tend to absorb ambient energy, and energy in and around other people, which expands my aura (whether or not thats a good thing I'm not sure). Bad part about it was that I used to not be able to filter good, bad, energies and if I was absorbing alot of negative energy, I would start becoming violent, or depressed, or visa versa. Now I've managed to develop a filtering system where I can absorb only energy types that I want to absorb. Still I have the downfall that this human body cannot stand surplus energy and usually begins to breakdown and shutdown when it reaches a certain level. Gotta work on that.

has anyone here tried an aura photography machine? I had my picture taken with one and it was really cool to see. I would scan the pic, but it disappeared after a few days and I never found it. I'm wondering if these acurately dipict auras? I might go get another one if they do

So then let me ask you this? WHen I am around certain people my aura is overwhelming. Sometimes to myself and certain others around me. And at times when I am with certain people at work I almost shut down.Not as if my chakras are being sucked out of me but as if I have put up a wall. Is this possible without me even thinking about it? After reading this I truly realized that I do this. I get quite silent even... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

where I come from its a bad thing ;) try being the one having thier energy sucked out! It sucks, no pun intended ;) it leaves you drained and tired, stressed and some how you feel you have been attacked and you feel violated. Some people you can look at them and just go OH SHIT. Others take a while before you actually know what hit you. I have a close friend whom told me her experiances. I personally have never encountered a phyick(sp) vamp, thankfully, dont sound like a very pleasant experiance.

The Satanic Bible has a chapter dedicated to psychic vampires and how they should not be tolerated and in most cases destroyed.
However I am not a satanist. I give energy to these people before they can suck it. Giving energy is a positive thing for both the giver and the reciever, sucking energy results in the person being sucked feeling very drained and violated... the sucker themselves gets a temporary boost from it, which soon subsides, leaving them wanting to suck more energy.
The only way to help psychic vampires is to give them energy, and if they try to suck.....put up the psychic shield!

when i was little i would be able to see auras then i moved with a ultra-christian family and i lost everything this lady told me my aura is really dark once like almost black she made it sound negative but im a relatively happy person so i think she was full of shit
