 mescaline/san pedro questions

well i decided not to do the potion i made yesterday because i was very tired..... so I'm going to do it today. do you think it would be better taking it in the day (now) or later when it gets dark out?
i used mjshroomers prep for preparing the San Pedro  thanks mjshroomer for providing this great information on your magical potion.
for reducing nausea, do you think i should drink Ginger tea or take something before the trip or after?
any items that you always bring on you with mescaline trips that are interesting..wether its a trip toy, book, drawing, painting, anything....post em!

Spend it outdoors,choose the most "foresty" location around!
If you play a musical instrument,from flute,drum to even a homemade rubberband soundbox put it in your backpack along with some fruit and off you go!
A small tip : Alkaline pH helps absorption of phenethylamines,quite the oposite happens with tryptamines.In simple english : Antacids such as Maalox taken with the juice aid absorbtion and give a quicker comeup maybe even a stronger peak.

thanks...well i have 100 acres of forest in my yard 
i just wanna know when it would be better to take...now or tonight... should i take ginger tea before or mint tea would this help with nausea?

Take it earlier on. It can take hours to kick in, you wouldn't be peaking until well past midnight if taken around 9:00, for example.

I think he wanted to know if the mescaline experience would be better during the day - or night. They're both good, i'd say the night is better, with stars & the moon.
As for sickness I think you should try not eating about 4-5 hours before you drink the tea. Candy ginger can help not sure if mint tea helps.
I would like to know nausea prevention methods too...like ginger tea, natrual methods

why not take it kind of late in the day, so you can be peaking during the day, at dusk, and at night? experience it all in one trip

Ah,
I would agree that night is better for this (usually) more mild hallucinogen. Really lets the visuals have their way with things better. I just mean, that if you're planning on a night time trip, you still may want to dose at 5 or 6 in the evening.

IMHO, The best nausea prevention is to not make cactus tea at all.
I do a simple alcohol extraction from dried cactus that leaves a greatly reduce volume of a thick tar of which only a heaping teaspoon is a good dose. Water washes away the taste easily.
There's no way I'd go back to tea.
I've never experienced any nausea at all from this method, nor has any of my friends that have partaken of it with me.

Sorry I took so long.
Here it is:
If you are planning on drying it, then I suggest that after it is dry, you should extract it with some 190 proof grain alcohol.
Steps include:
1) Grind dry cactus flesh as fine as you can into a powder.
2) Soak in alcohol for 2 or 3 days, shaking every now and then.
3) Filter off Alcohol and save it and add fresh alcohol to the cactus to soak some more. Repeat this process until you feel that all of your mescaline is in the alcohol. I usually do it 3-4 times.
4) Once you are done soaking, you can throw the cactus pulp away. All of your mescaline should be in the alcohol.
5) Pour your mescaline containing alcohol into a large flat pan and evaporate the alcohol away. You'll want to have good ventilation for this(or not if you like breathing in alcohol vapors).
6) You should be left with a thick syrup.
A teaspoon usually does the trick for me.
