i am interested in finding my own shrooms but i know nothing about it (obivously a bad thing) so i was wondering..where do magic shrooms naturally grow in the wild?

Mushrooms grow in every state.....The problem is there are so, so many mushrooms out there that are similar in looks it's really tough to tell what you pick, even when you identify a strain you don't know how strong it is due to outdoor conditions. But, too answer your question, most grow in manure from grain fed animals, some grow on rotting wood and most that bruise blue on handling are "Poisonous". I would say read up the grow section here and do lots of back reading and searches there is more than enough info here to grow most strains...

I wouldn't pick psilocybe mushrooms in the wild until you've gained some experience in identifying them. Lots and lots of poisonous mushrooms are easily mistaken for the good ones, and many people get sick or die from eating them.
