Hello again friends! OK, after I found that single blue-ringer in the planter-box, I went inside for some grub and to watch my wife open her birthday presents! Then, I decided to go out and smoke and search the yard for possibilities of more Ps. Stuntzii! Well, no Stuntzii were around, so I walked into the woods a bit. Guess what? I found quite a few Ps. pelliculosa! They aren't potent, but are Psilocbyes! That's what counts anyways, huh?! Check out the pics of them in the wild! The picture is quite bad, seeing as I'm not very good with the digi as well as the fact that it's a shitty digi!
Here is a handful of Pelliculosas at my kitchen table!
Stay cool!-Levi7.

Hi Levi Seven, Those happen to be Psathyrella species not P. pelliculosa. Scheck my site for some P. pelliculosa images at http://mjshroomer.yage.net/species.html mj

How can you tell that MJ? The pics aren't the greatest, its hard to tell what exactly they are. To Dogweazle: Ps. pelliculosa is a entirely different genus, it is a psilocybe, foensecii and subbs are in the Panaeolus genus not the Psilocybe genus. They have totally different characteristics and are quite easy to tell apart by the trained eye.

I have looked at your site probably more times than even you have! LOL! :) You might be right, I might be crazy, but that funky little purple-brown spored mushroom looks Psilocybe to me! Hehe! Yeah, it could be Psathyrella. I should have posted, "Can anyone identify this mushroom for me!:, instead of instantly making my own choice in identification of a mushroom I have never picked before! hehe! I spanked myself, so you don't have to, MJ! Hehe! Stay cool!-Levi7.
