Central Florida Rumors

I'm livin in central FL and people say that theres places around but none of them know where or people that do. I'm figuring that FL has alot of shrooms abound, anyone know the truth?

Well i was blessed yesterday with the small but simple gift of finding two Psilocybe cubensis. They were potent.

This is along the southwest coast of the state.

Also, i just found what i believe to be Gymnopilus luteofolius..just outside of the library here.. the caps stained a definate blue.
-I got a few pics of them and also one of the two cubes.
--they will be posted in coming days.

Well the only place ive been able to find cubes as of lately is in sarasota county. Its always so hard to figure the wild growing cycles.
--The Copelandia i am finding in more abundance, and that is in Manatee county. -u know those big dumb whale blubber fish.

Anyhow, I did find several dozen cubensis ytwo days ago in Sumpter county fla-i-a. --I spotted them from the road (middle of country, no cars) and we jumped out and picked.

I hunted Gainesville yesterday to find that the mushroom capitol of the world was dry as a bone. zero mushrooms.

Jacksonsivvle is supposedly shroomless.

Cubensis usually wait until December & January in florida for a last great flush of golden-tops in the field.

Panaeolus castaneifolius come out in March.

Oh my, we went out again tonight.........only to find a cop running my plate when we got back, but I said I lost my dog, he jumped out of the back of my truck, anyways, he believed us and we went back and grabbed the bag. We got another good find. I only know of the blue meanies and the cubes that are growing out here, but we seem to have found a few other species. Anyone know of any psycedellic ones native to here? "Panaeolus castaneifolius" What are those? Got any pictures? The meanies are small and hard to find in the dark........any help would be greatly appreciated.
