In need of DRUM kits!
    #4322392 - 06/21/05 10:28 PM (11 years, 5 months ago)

I'm working in fruity loops and I'm in need of some new drum kits.

Any one have sites for free drum, instruments, or bass .wavs ?

If anyone wants to send me there existing drum kits they have...I'm willing to share some very nice plug ins.

Send an IM...or PM me.

Thanks Guys!

whats up Smack! good to see you're still around.

I could defnitely use a new sampled kit as well... hip hop, big beat, trip hop... from jazzy to funky.

Toddo, I'll PM you

I have about 20gb's or refills and kits. Depending on what your looking for.

could never really get into the fruityloops drumkits either.. Reason's Redrum has some decent kits too but for some reason the format hinders my beat-making mojo. if only reason were more like fruityloops in layout style.. it'd be perfect for me.

i suppose i'll adjust.

you ever heard of the "drumkit from hell"? from what i've read and been told, it's pretty awesome.. i think it's its own program.

Maybe because the extent of Reason step sequencing is stepwise beats on or off. Sure, you may be able to adjust time signature and subdivision, but as far as freedom of beat placement, you're still stuck within strict quantization. Or has Reason 3 improved on this? I, too, love sequencing in Fruity Loops. FL5 and up, the piano roll is just killer. I'm a pretty skilled drummer and I find that with the piano roll, I can simulate just about anything that can be played on a kit. Of course it takes a lot of time and patience to render lots of little rolls and ghost notes with the right feel, hi hat nuances, etc. Hell, it's all i really use, but most everything in FL sounds pretty, well, fruity, except for some of the newer plugins, so I end up making a lot of my own samples for the step sequenceer. I may start combining FL drum parts with reason stuff, using ACID to combine the two. Sound feasible?
