Cakes and Casings?

Ok I birthed 4 cakes about a week ago. Nothing is happening.. how long does pinning usually take? Temps are 75-77 and humidity is high.. i dont know because its a poor mans terrarium and i just mist once a day. fan 3 times a day.
Another question.. I birthed 8 cakes into a casing on friday.. I know it wont be for a while longer but I'm just wondering how long it usually takes for casings to cover about 30-40% and then after that to start pinning?

my friend's cakes usually take anyway from 5 days to 17 days. It's always different for him.

About a week to colonize the casing, then another week until you see pins.
