Getting the ****ing damprid out of carpets...

Two of my chambers got knocked over and onto my carpet.  :mad2: I cleaned it as best I can but the carpet still has that wet.. weird damprid feel to it. Anyone know the best way to clean that shit out of a carpet without any damage to the carpet?

I'm thinking I will go get some carpet cleaner. But whenever I used that stuff before .. the spot where I use it always seems to get really dark and dirty.

Any suggestions?

I think on the side of damprid it says what to do incase of a spill. I think it said something like wet the carpet down and scrub till you can't scrub no more. But yea I think there were directions on the side.

i would try a watered down washing up liquid for starters. Work from the outside of the stain in towards the middle so you don't spread it to much. Gl

It turns dark because you haven't removed all the cleaning agent which remains sticky and attracts the dirt

well you could put a box over the stain and use more damprid

Hadn't thought of more damprid.. thanks newguy.

My box has french directions. No sign of any way to get it out. I wet it a bit and have been scrubbing. I got my big wetvac and have been using it. Still more there. So no miracle cure? Like piss on it and it magically disappears?

Oh well.. I will keep scrubbing. But on the bright side.. the only reason I have this big mess is because I had so much 'stuff' to dry :smile:.
