which is that you have realized all of this for yourself and therefore don't need to parrot bad translations?

I say this is a pissing contest.
I won't want to pick on the Buddhists but it so often comes down to this when you guys start "debating" . From the outside it looks like a big EGO thingy. It always takes two though.
Just my two cents.

I think you may need some lessons in english, or clarity or something becuase i rarely have any idea what you are trying to say (i dunno, maybe its me that needs english lessons). But anyways,as i said before, its an accurate enough translation for the purposes of pointing out to you, what i meant by "manifest" within the given context. What does this have to do with my realization? You asked a question, and i gave an answer. What is your problem exactly? If you are sayng, that i have'nt realized complete Buddhahood, then you are indeed correct. But again, what does this have to do with the price of fish?

Its no pissing contest Icelander. Its just i have a horrible habit of not being able to leave a question unanswered. And redgreenvines has a horrible habit of not liking to have to read too many words. But as you can see, as usual, im always laughing.
Oh and as for the whole EGO thing you mentioned, im going to quote Swami on this one
"If you have transcended ego, then you would not judge me. If you have not transcended ego, then you are in no position to make any judgement." -Swami
Absolutley Priceless!

Yeah Right.
As far as ego goes. Everyone has one. Like I said.

I dont agree entirely with the Fraudian anaology of ego, and since i see no reference to 'ego' in any Buddhist scripture, im quite inclined to deny its existence completely. However, If you are talking about 'ego' in terms of the delusion of 'self-hood' (like many buddhist masters are doing today for the benfit of western practitioners), then i can pretty much say, without a doubt, that i am on the correct path to transcending this condition.
