Price is no object, but I'm always looking for a deal. I want a good one that will last, and will process up to half gallon sized jars. Or two layers of pint jars or more, whatever they make, you know what I mean.
And I need to know where I should go on the internet to order one plz, some links would be dandy if you know of any.
Thanks, and have a great evening.

Got one from sporeworks about 5 years ago. 15.5 quart, great price, fast shipping, still in pristine condition.

all american pc, dont get any other. if you do buy a different brand you will end up buying a new one later. Buy cheap, buy twice!!! No smaller then a 915-hold 10 pints-20 1/2 pints or 7 quarts, a 921 is pretty damn good without going over board holds 7 quarts or 19 pints or 30+ 1/2 pints or 4 1/2 gallons, a 930 Capacity - 30 Quarts (Liquid), 19 Pint Jars, 14 Quart Jars

AA 925 or bigger in pristine condition off ebay. Wait, watch & snap one up as cheap as you can. You cannot do better than a big AA PC.

What kinds of things can happen to PCers that warrant spending that kind of cash on one? I haven't used mine for years or anything yet, but it seems to work just fine and it is a Presto, which I think is the cheap brand they carry at walmart.
I was just curious what the benefits are to having an AA over having a cheapie? Though they do look very masculine, I didn't think there was much that can go wrong with them.

My AA 941 (sterilizer) kicks ass. It fits on a stovetop. I also bought a lab hot plate, so I can use it in the shop, without a stove.

That's awesome! I might get that shit too.
Clutch: Thing is, if I do a case of jars I wanna run the PC one time. Not 4 times and spend all day doing it. I don't wanna fuck around with pint jars at all, at least do quarts, and I also wanna have the option to experiment with 2 quart jars. There is no pressure canners at all at Walmart. The biggest they have is an 8 quart pressure cooker, and that won't even fit a quart jar, just stupid pints.

Right, I definitely agree with going for a bigger one. I know walmart doesn't have big ones, I just have one the same brand as theirs.
But what I'm asking is what makes the AA worth the money? I mean it IS the Mercedes Benz of the PCers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you could spend a LOT less for a different brand PCer that will hold several Quarts.

the AA 941 will not fit under my range hood on my stove.
so be careful if you have a low level range hood like mine...before buying a AA 941.
the AA 930 just barely fits under my range hood.

The cheap PCs have a rubber gasket that goes bad and dries up after a while. AA PCs have no rubber gasket, it's all metal, it never goes bad. However, you might want to get the pressure gauge calibrated every couple of years...

ah ha. Thanks Mr. Frank Grimes. That answers my question. I thought maybe it had something to do with not having a rubber gasket.
Wasn't tryin to knock the AA's at all, just trying to justify the expense for them is all.

a professional service will charge alot of money to calibrate a gauge.
I just buy a new gauge and pressure relief valve every few years.
