thanx, yeah i was curious myself, this is the first time i tried it, i figured the plastic bag would kill the mycelium but much to my surprise i didnt even bruise any of it bringing it home on a 20 min car ride in a bag in a backpack, im thinkin im gonna go back and get as many piles as i can n bring em home cause the field was bought out and someone is going to build on it, so it would be a shame to see all of those myc. colonies get murdered by a bunch of construction...

awesome, i always wondered if that would work.. keep reporting back on how it works. good finds by the way.

Yeah, when I was hunting the other night I noticed a lot of mycelium on the bottom of some of the better turds (the ones with bigger/more mushrooms on them), so I decided to take a couple home and see what would happen if I kept them in my backyard and watered them every day. I've read a few times now that it works both outdoors and indoors, so it's worth a shot.

Nothing yet, but if yours (leftysurprise) started to sprout some friends then I would imagine mine should, too. Well, then again I'm in Atlanta and you're in Florida. I'll post pictures if my backyard cow shits grow anything.

Nice finds everyone. Lots of cube finds lately, got a couple ounces dry saved up. Found my first Cyans a few days ago, only small ones but Im pretty excited about it. It's also the first season Ive gotten Pan. Subbs. Im pretty sure Ive found them before I just IDed them positively this season by finally finding some that blued a small amount. I need drivers for my camera badly! Im dying to share my finds with you guys. Hopefully soon.

Well after hunting, hunting, and even more hunting over the past month, I finally found this lonely but GINORMOUS cube here in central Alabama! :mushroom2:

sorry 'bout the poor focus....

If my postal scale is correct this monster weighed in wet at about 60 grams!  That's almost 2 1/2 ounces from one shroom.

The shroomery dosage calculator says you need about 35 fresh grams for level 5 trip, so I guess I'll save half for later rather than consuming the whole thing, what do ya'll think?

thats nothing compared to some of the monster Treasure coasters ive found  but still nice. could anyone tell me what these two are?? theyre growing next to my relocated pile, any advice would be great.

here is a closeup, kinda blurry

this one is a little better quality, as you can see it has orange in the center fading out to white, white stem it grew from nothing to this within 6 hours, its about 3-4 inches tall, ive never seen one before

and this is a different one, i have seen them before in the fields but not sure what it is, it has a tannish grey cap, brown stem and is about 3 inches tall, also grew from nothing to this in about 6 hours

i havent pulled them to take a spore print yet just in case either are worth keeping to reproduce. any ideas?
