Well this gnome I know said when he was growing mushrooms (this was for his first time too) he had lots of trobble with contamanation. Eventually the contamanation killed all his jars except one. And the one that didn't get killed didn't look like it was growing and more. So this gnome took out the subtrate and placed it behind his house where there was alot of dirt. He placed some things over it for shade and to keep it mosit and it was during the summer so the temps where just right. After about 2 days this gnome guy forgot about it untill one day he stubbled across his creation again. He saw that it was fully colonized and mushrooms where growing out of it (there was some light peaking through well it was covered I guess.). The gnome was soo happy that his last hope for saving his mushrooms worked. He was amazed too because all of his jars died inside and then out side his mushrooms did just fine and there are alot more contams outside. Well this just shows that mother nature must love mushrooms, and gnomes!

Good for your gnome.

Ya see, it's stories like this that never make the local news. It's always the "Here's how to order DXM for 30 dollars" thread in other drugs. This thread here brought a tear to my eye. Mr Gnome, my hat is off to your ability to kick ass through adversity. FUCK BUDY LEE, I wanna be like Mr Gnome ;) Grover

You can put your substrate in a large Zip-Loc bag with a little verm in the bottom for moisture, stash it in a shady spot, and wait for harvest. It works even when temps dip below freezing.
