Proper Temp for Syringe Temp
    #4318350 - 06/20/05 09:26 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

Just acquired a "BMR Fresh Maker" storage fridge.
No idea where/when it was produced. Can't find any info online about it, otherwise I would have posted pics and such.
The amazing feature of this product is, it has a set temp controler in Fahrenheit and Celsius. (I use Fahrenheit)
I need to know, what is a proper temperature to set it to? I want to use it to store my syringes and cultures. 32F is freezing point, so I assume it is between 40F-50F??
Could always emulate the fridges temp by taking a reading from the inside of it. But seeing as how I have a full range to set at, what would be the idea temp?

Would appreciate any input from someone who has an identical storage fridge.

My fridge is electronically controlled and has a digital readout as well. I keep syringes/cultures at 35F with no problems/freezing whatsoever. Anything in the range of 35-50 will work fine for long term storage of anything myco related.
