your spores are definatly good as long as you keep them sterile, cut out the piece of paper the print is on and put it in a sealed plastic bag asap...then read the grow/find section of this website for more info on how to convert a spore print into a syringe, read the magic mushroom growers guide, maybe order a spore syringe from a vendor on this website and you should be on your way. picking shrooms in the wild is a crapshoot, it's either hit or miss, looks like the people that trampled the fence down got there before you did, either that or the season is over and they're done fruiting, temperature and humidity play a big part in the growing and fruiting phase. I don't know how much cooler it's gotten down there yet. best thing to do is just make sure that print is sterile...(I doubt it is by now)..so i'd order a syringe and start off using the magic mushroom growers guide...you can find everything you need to know on this website.

Your spores were not collected in a totaly "clean" enviroment. You have a a risk of a green mold invasion, at the least. Be sure to really sock the spores (use a lot!) to the media. Hopefully the 'shrooms will over throw the other spores that are likely present. Good luck! It's still very possible.
