Yet another h202 question

I hate seeing repeated questions so im sorry about this but i only seen it being asked once "what grade h202 to use" and no one answered.

I went to the chemist and got a bottle and its (20 VOL) 6% B.P

So if im to make 3% h202 and 97% water is that based on food grade 35% h202 or what grade?

if i put 3 parts h202 and 97 parts water and im ment to be using 35% h202 its going to be too weak!

Also i know i should use 3% mixture when putting it in the 2 inches of water in the fruiting chamber(using geolite + bubbler) but do i use 3% when sterilizing the fruiting chamber and sterilizing old canning jars to use again or do i put a stronger mix?

i'd say just go to the grocery store and buy a bottle that say 3% on it. that's what i did and it works great!

i always go for between 3 and 5%... never been exact on the measurements, but have never had a problem

Were not talking about how much to add, were talking about the STRENTGH of the peroxide.

Do 3% peroxide.
3% is 3% h202, 97% water
6% is 6% h202, 94% water
35% is 35% h202, 65% water

For your 6% h202, you want to make 3% to use, so you need to use 50%h202 (6%) and 50% water...50% of 6% is 3%..from there you can further dilute it for doing things such as misting and dunking.
