keeping pasturized sub.
    #4315679 - 06/20/05 01:58 AM (11 years, 10 months ago)

up until now i've been using my pasturized h poo right away. now i'm wondering, how long can i hold on to it after i pasturize it, before i spawn to it? a week? two?  in a sealed container would it last?
i figure it should. is anyone doing this? :tongue2:

problem is that pasturizing does not kill everything. i stored some in the fridge after pasturization for 2 weeks to see what would happen. when i took it out it had this sour milk like smell to it. i set it up in a small spawn run to see what would happen, well it has colonized just like all the rest at this point. i did this like 4 days ago, so i will see what happens after casing. there is no more noticable smell at this point. maybe it will be fine maybe it won't. i wondered the same thing you are.
we shall see.
peace

just don't seal it up because then you will probably not be able to use it.

Freezing it would be your safest bet.

:yesnod:
had luck with stuff from crazy moon frozen for a couple of months.

i do say, though- make sure to put another layer over your bag, as the plastic will stick to lots of stuff in your freezer, and will tear.

paper doesn't stick, but a garbage bag will be o.k.
