puffed millet

yesterday i found "puffed millet" at the grocery store. Its sold as a cereal. Obviously my question is whether i could use this for a substrate. -Thanks

i'm no expert by any means, but wouldn't any of those puffed cereals just get really soggy if you wet them, thus providing a poor, gooey environment for mycelium to try and grow in? i don't think mycelium like swimming through goo, but perhaps it would work (just seems doubtful to my mind)
