I am planning to take either shrooms or acid (whichever i can find) for the first time this halloween, and i was wondering if anyone knows if either of these drugs would possibly mess with my asthma?

I have asthma, believe me, you'll be perfectly fine. during the peak if you took enough you might think you are having trouble breathing but don't worry, your breathing doesn't get constricted of depressed. you'll be fine  have fun
if u do worry take a puff or two from your inhaler (proventil is what i use) and then you should be perfectly fine. don't freak out about it is all i have to say, tripping doesn't affect breathing

i have asthma too, i use albuterol when i need to (which is hardly ever) be careful when you take your puffs if you need to, most inhalers work as stimulent, and if you take too many puffs your heart rate shoots sky high...

ya thats happened and it is not fun at all ... when i have asthma attacks i have to use this machine that PUMPS me full of the shit and I feel soooo bad I hate that feeling more than any other high (except DXM heh)

i have really bad asthma and im fine, i use my inhaler prob around 20 times aday. and it does kinda feel like ur outta breath but ur not, so dont keep usin ur inhaler.

Yeah like heavenly said, keep your proventil on you. You might want to increase your dosage a day or two before the trip just to make sure nothing crazy will induce your asthma, plus its cold season. I suggest you take intel two puffss, two times a day. You should alsso spray one puff of beclevant and 1 puff of serevant. Just to make sure yoru safe, i'd take one singulair pill before you go to bed. ohh yea i almost forgot you should also use your nebulizer the morning before the trip. have fun! =)

im supposed to take Intal like three times a day every day but i havent used it in a year...
and god no id NEVER use the nebulizer unless I was half-way dead, i hate that shit. at first it's like "its ok my asthma already is better" but then by the time all the liquid is gone u get up and feel so fuckin odd, i usually hear shit and feel my heart rate at about 130 beats a minute heh ... hmm if i ever got a vial, maybe ill mix a drop or two with my liquid proventil and use it in the nebulizer .. hah thatd be a fuckin trip

i hate my fuckin nebulizer too. its load and u do feel ur heartbet like 150 times a min. and u get about the same amount of albuerol as in 2 puffs of ur inhaler.

that's odd, we'll be experiencing a new drug on the same day, I'll be taking E for the first time. The only problem with this is I can't find anyone to trip with.

Last time I shroomed, I was paranoid about breathing... I didn't know if I was breathing right or not, so my friends stayed and watched me their whole trip, because I was too gone to know for sure if I was or wasn't...

I have fairly bad asthma and this whole discussion is something which i can relate to. The last time i tripped alone, i found it impossible not to dwell on my perception of how bad my breathing was but when i trip with friends i don't notice at much as i have things to distract me, talk about, find funny etc..
It's a shame though because i enjoy tripping alone, but at the moment, the way my asthma is i don't think i'd enjoy it or get as much out of it as much as i possibly could.
Does anyone else get this with solo trips?
My asthma doesn't interfere with my Salvia experiences though, in fact my breathing feels better and more relaxed than when i'm sober!

the last (and only) time I tripped solo I didn't really think about my breathing the entire night, probably because I was too engulfed in talking to other people online who were tripping also
