Do you know which species is it? Obtusifolia?

Are you sure about the ID?

You could make a sep funnel out of a plastic bottle, as long as your solvent doesn't melt it. Put some solvent inside the bottle you plan on using and let it sit there for a day or two to test it out.

Oh and it will be dificult to install a stopper on a plastic bottle. How do you plan on stopping the liquid from falling once you get your layer?

Either way i've done a bunch of extractions without a sep funnel. You don't really need one if you use your imagination, although it would make everything 10X easier. Spoons and freezers are your friends

Good luck with your extraction!

if I were to make a seperation funnel I'd probably buy a glass drill bit and use a jar...I'm sure u could put a valve on it...maybe seal with silicone or something(I don't even know if that would work on glass just a guess)
