I have only bought from ebay. I purchased some pre processed powder, which is not worth the money because usually there grinding up the whole thing. I bought some 12 inch cuttings and cut the core out and removed the outer most skin and the spikes, and popped it into a blender with a little water and drank. Oh man did it taste so nasty. i gagged down half of the mixture, threw up 10 min later. 3 hours later I was flying for about 10 hours solid. Go here to learn more http://www.erowid.org/plants/cacti/cacti.shtml

Growing your own plants from seed is pretty easy, but I hear their alkaloid content can vary alot :S
I wonder if there are fail-safe seeds that give decent cucumbers!

Yeah it can be nice to grow... But catci grow SLOWLY. Like 1-2 years for a cacti big enough for ONE dose.
