mm. it is impossible to use PMs instead of public threads. Try to check out is some new company with low prices valid or not using pms. You will have to check many people you do not know. Even if you get a feedback, you want be able (in most of the cases) to know is that info thrustworthy or not.
A year ago there was no spore exchange forum, nor vendors forum on the shroomery. In that time, there where only four established vendors. And now we can enjoy many more thtusworthy ones. It is good and important. After all we avoid monopoly in this way, and rip offs of course.

Anyone can make a spore print. Not everyone can make 5-meo 2ct's dpt etc.. Is having a chemical supplier forum going to generate new businesses who synthesise these chemicals, rather than merely act as re-sellers? Looking to save a bit of money shouldn't be the major consideration when looking for such suppliers. PM'ing a few people is sufficent to obtain the name of a reliable source.

OK, you are right. It is much harder to establish chemical bussiness than spore vending. As you say anybody can be spore vendor, but to have access, licences it is much harder thing. This thing wont change any drug policy (cosidering open disscusion), it is censourship only. The censourship only slows down natural flows.
I do not see why to protect bussines interests of several established companies who have the monopoly. The internet is here to break any sort of monopoly. Monopoly over information or any other thing.
Internet is here to stop elitism and to help "ordinary" people.
My cosideration is not about money, but about principles. ONLY. Nevertheless I never bought anything over internet.

I see your point about monopoly on information, but 'access for all' is not always a good idea. If you are privilged to have information, you also have the responsibility to use it wisely.... If you regularly brought coke from a dealer in a park, you wouldnt write 'YOU CAN BY COCAINE OF THIS MAN IN THE PARK' in six feet high letters opposite the local primary school. Young children would be trying to by cocaine, and the dealer would get arrested.

This was my argument for the supplier policy long ago, but then I realized that not having the policy did not cause much trouble because people pretty much censored themselves and traded info via PM.
If you look at Crobih's site, you'll see it is still that way. Nobody is posting the names of any legit supply houses or pharm drug sites out in the open.
People are not stupid, they know that if they have a good supplier and they give it to everyone that supplier will go away (at least that is how it worx with pharms). So, people trade, instinctually, via PM. We do not need an authoritative prescence monitoring our common sense as group pressure usually puts idiots who post good suppliers in their place.
Like I said before, there have been two cases where a reputible pharm was posted in OD and in both instances, the poster removed the link himself after being asked to remove it politely.
So, when people are not allowed to ask, "is www.foreignpharmacylistforyourcash.com a rip-off" then they get ripped off. So far the only suppliers on Crobih's page are rip of suppliers who do not deliver.
Let the group control the occassional idiot who posts a valuable resource and get rid of silly "policies" that threaten the fundamental spirit of shroomery.org and increase the chances of newbies getting ripped by scam artists.
