tell me their is please, as we can see there is no way this is possible,
eg , everything we know/can picture in our heads has been put there by our ears and eyes touch and senses so how can any thing we do / draw / think or see (in our heads be oridginal .

The existing concepts (the ones you get trough your sensory system) can make the new ones.... wich are based on existing, but wich are highly selfsufficient and rounded. So, the new concepts can be shown in the materialistic world as creation.

okay, every so often someone comes up with this topic and i will be the first to say that this statement is only one made by someone without a thought in their head. (sry but its true)

Thats right zeus, creative geniuses have no problems at all coming up with original ideas but they are a rare breed, just because some people cant think originally they think the whole race has stopped thinking originally too its not true

coming up with original ideas isnt something only a genius can come up with but putting them out in the open is something thats a little more difficult because alot people dont want to discuss something they arent comfortable which is ussually that people dont have a strong grasp on

I happen to agree that everything we express is just regurgitated memories and concept we have lerned. You may find it strange then that I'm an art student, make and produce my own music and write sometimes

Although nothing we do may be actual original, what we regurgitate is created by assembling so many different, subjective memories, experiences, influences that there are almost an infinite amount of combinations. Therefore it is doubtful that anything truly creative that we create has ever been done before or will be done again.

A friend and I make music, and almost admires my originality. He more or less reproduces what he hears. That's something I cannot do. Anyway, I told him that the key to originality is to try to hide the fact that you have just "stolen" ideas from others. (this is sometimes called inspiration...)
My music is always heavily inspired by someone/something, but most people don't notice, because I transform the ideas I get from the sources, and in addition noone I know reads the books I read, or listen to the music I listen to. That makes it a bit easier to pose as original :)
It's just about taking your input, putting it through a few rounds in your favourite kitchen appliance, then shove it into a washing machine together with some glue, let it dry: Viola, a brand spanking shiny new original idea! :)
