All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, worn out faces Bright and early for their daily races Going nowhere, going nowhere And their tears are filling up their glasses No expression, no expression Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow No tomorrow, no tomorrow And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you 'Cos I find it hard to take When people run in circles It's a very, very Mad World Children waiting for the day they feel good Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday Made to feel the way that every child should Sit and listen, sit and listen Went to school and I was very nervous No one knew me, no one knew me Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson Look right through me, look right through me
I wish you all the best of dayz.

Got a quick story about the first time I heard that song....
Freshman year of college, my first time smoking out of a vaporizer. Took so many hits because I didn't think it would work, then BLAM I was high and euphoric. We went to see an acapella group because our friend was in it and it was time to do some serious heckling....
This beautiful girl stepped forward and sang the slow version of Mad World, I fell in love, with the song, with the singer, it was just awesome.
THEN later, we watched Donny Darko, which I'd never seen, and I heard that song again, for the second time of my life. It was an incredibly trippy bit of synchronicity. Plus that movie was filmed at my high school, which tripped me out even more.
Dunno why I wrote that, felt like sharing I guess :0 That song will always have a special place in my heart.
