you really should soak your perlite and then drain it well before putting it in the tub. standing water is not a good thing to have. it will still be good but could affect overall growth (rh being too low).

probably means that for the price of a kit you could have much more from doing things yourself.

then after you get pins drop the humidity down to 85%

Yes and not only that, you learn a whole lot. For instance, what are you gonna do when your kit's spent? Spend another small fortune on another one?

Learn some stuff so you don't get ass-raped when you buy your supplies.

so is the amount of water i put in there good? its about a bottle of water and maybe a little bit more, i put a thermometer in there and the humidity righ now is High and its about 80.9 temp.

i have a fan straight on it on high and sprayed water outside the plastic tub and still the temp remains 80, did i do somethign wrong or what shoulod i do to increase the temp?

a quick reply would be greatfull i know most of you get annoyed at all the stupid questions and tell everyone to go read and i am and have and will continue to read but i just need some quick questions answered every now and then to speed up the process ...

is it your temp or humidity that you are questioning? you started off with humidity and now your on temp. which is it?
take the fan off it. spray with water and enclose it in something.
that will increase your rh. temp you have several options.

the humidity doesnt show a number it just says high, and the temperature it shows 80 F right now... i will try spraying with water and taking the fan off

if it just says high then it is at or near 100% rh. to raise your temp you can get a fish tank heater and submerse it in some water or use a seed germination mat with a temp control on it.
