Judging strains
    #4309622 - 06/17/05 11:15 PM (18 years, 9 months ago)

Hey everyone, most of you probably forgot me (or all?). anyway i've decided that i'm sick of not participating in this wounderfull past-time anymore. I was woundering what strains i should try growing. I've only grown B+ as of yet and being that i've taken such a long break, I'm out of the loop as to what strains are hardest to grow. I'd like to grow something different this time around . any suggestions, please leave me with some good ideas of how hard the strains are to grow and anything that might help me to know the strains tendencies a lil better.

umm, i've already grown B+ a few times, i'm pretty used to, i've never tried casing though. Is sporeworks still a good site to order spores from? i'd still like some responses on specific strains, a friend of mine suggested an african strain but he didn't know what it was called...

any of the thai strains have been very kind to me. very quick to colonize, good pin sets, and a very wonderful high.

Yes they are.

The South African "Transkei" strain is the one that your friend was talking about.
It will teach you why Africans wear bones in their noses!~

I'd suggest the South American strain...very fast colonizer, fast fruiter, large fruits and large yeilding.

unfortunately Sporeworks doesn't carry either of these strains.

Ralphster does though.

Any of the Shroomery Sponsors are good to order from...I have ordered from two and been very pleased in both instances. I would recommend Cambodians, as they are fast colonizing and have decent potency...good all around cube. If you want something different, go with Pan Cyan like I will be soon, thanks to a trade that rocked!!
