Mushroom Nutrient Know-It-Alls required

What sort of nutrients do mushrooms use?
I mean, a plant basically uses light, water, air(co2) and disolved mineral salts.

A human basically uses carbohydrates, protien, lipids, water, air, vitamins&minerals.

Does a mushroom use carbs? How bout protien? Would the addition of amino acids be a good nutrient booster? Do you find that a laughable stupid question? How bout this! Would sterelized body-building weight gain be a nutrient booster?

Long winded lectures from the profesors out there please!!!

nitrogen,protein,light (a little bit) if you are looking for a good nutrient substitute try going to fungi.com and ordering peptone theres is soy based and runs about 20.00 for 100 grams

One fully microwaved (vending machine type) "soybean" cheeseburger with mustard, three strawberry Poptarts, 2 oz's of MircleGrow fertilizer, two gallons of 3&1 oil, one worn piston ring from a 1957 chevy coup, one case of Budwiser Light beer, eight bisexual women tripping, one 250 watt per channel low distortion USA made stereo amp/2 PA Speakers, 5 quarts hot chilie, three cans whiped cream and one diet cherry cola & rum with a twist of lemon. These are all extremely important.
