Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles.

Fear and Loathing of course, I don't know why it's such a good movie but it's too easy to just smoke a joint, have a few shots of Captain Morgan and watch it.

The Hannibal series is pretty awesome.

Etc.

well a lot of people have mentioned a lot of movies that i'd have mentioned, so i'll try to think of some that people haven't heard of, but that are still very good.

off the top of my head, Blikende Lygter, I Kina Spiser De Hund and Gamle M?nd i Nye Biler are three very good danish 'gangster' type comedies (along the same lines as Snatch and Lock-Stock-and two smoking barrels).

Tilsammans is a great swedish comedy about people living in a commune in 1970s stockholm. By the director of Fucking ?m?l, and Lilja 4-Ever.

if you liked Super Troopers, there is a swedish movie that is a bit similar, but i think it's even funnier - Kopps.

(and before anybody makes some snide comments about the fact that i've only posted foreign films, oooohhh look at me, la la la - i've only done this because these are great films that the average american would never hear of otherwise! seriously, head to your local film-store and see if they can't get some of these!)

this movie disappointed me. ok, firstly, i'm not really a big fan of horror/slasher movies. but a friend explained the history behind this movie, how it was banned everywhere (except Ireland :wtf: ) because they thought there was actual footage of people being killed. turns out there wasn't. but they do kill a couple of animals, on camera. that really pissed me off... it wasn't necessary for the film, and there is this beautiful huge turtle that they kill just for some shock footage.

probably used to convey the idea that the filmmakers were just as bad as the cannibals
