Found these this evening. Not exactly sure whats what. It seems like there are to different types, the lighter and the darker. I found them in two seperate groups. I'm just going to through up the pictures right now, and I give a crack as some info tomorrow.

Thanks alot.
Hope everyone is having a good night.

Both species could be any number of things.
Hard to tell.

The first, all brown spotless Amanitas with volvas could quite possibly be Amanita phalloides-- the death cap. Eat those babies and you'll die.

The last ones are hard to say. Could be A. pantherina, could be one of several other species of brown spotted Amanitas.

General rule of thumb: don't fuck with Amanitas unless you're 100% it's Amanita muscaria. Amanitas are the NUMBER ONE cause of mushroom related fatalities.

On a similar note: why mess with Amanitas in general? Most people who eat A. muscaria hate the experience and would not repeat it. Not worth trying, in my opinion.
