you should find its humidity range, many basic hygrometers don't go above 80 or so.

that one works, but not great... I think it's cheaper (~$15) in the store. Mine lasted two weeks tops before getting swamped with humidity. It would probably be ok for only short stints in the chamber, there are better models from Oregon Scientific (I think) that will work better in 90+% humidity.

my new one is indeed Oregon Scientific from Radioshack. I got it on sale for about the price of that small one.

No, I went thru 4 in a month. Took them all back and got store credit. They can not handle the constant high humidity. Try one similiar to this.
