Limp mushies!

all my mushies when maturing cant seem to hold thier own wieght! they fall over limply during viel breaking leaving the opening cap upside down and exposing gills. I want to make prints with these but worry bout exposion to contams being upside down. should I create supports for the other maturing mushies? they on their way down too!

Did you put viagra in the substrate like your supposed to?


Hows the light? Its probably either light not comming from the top, not enough light, or not enough fresh air exchange making the stems thin and weak...lack of moisture can play in that too.

stems at base THICK with myc. got light on 12hrs directly above terrerium, got little computer fan I run now and then for air exchange, stem strengthening. They've all been this way. Strain maybe? Golden teacher.

can i butt in the thread and ask a dumb question..=)... how many hours per day do your mushies need light for? Im using a kit that will be placed inside a plastic container with perlite under the kit.

P.S. Is it ok to move the mushies lets say, if its under lights and i need to drive it to another location about 30min away and then place them under light again?

12 hours is great.

Not safe to move mushies in your car if your in the US, and besides that would quite likly expose them to contams.
