Weird Error Report I Keep On Getting...
    #4305211 - 06/16/05 09:30 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Well everytime I boot up my computer, I get this very annoying popup that tells me to send an error report to Microsoft. It says it contains such information as my IP address, and other personal info, and as soon as I read that, there was no way in hell I was complying.

So everytime I don't send, it just pop ups again and and again. So eventually I desperately decided to send, and I did. And they didn't really know how to help me, but recommended I download Service Pack 2. How fucking helpful. Since I needed to download IE in order to get it from their website, I decided not to.

What the fuck? Even after I send that it STILL pops up, even in safe mode!

So yeah I'm downloading Norton soon and investigating this further. Just wanted to know if anybody else had something like this happen to them and how they handled it.

1. Does the error report refer to a specific application, file or service?
2 I would check the event viewer to see what error reporting is logged there.
Right My Computer
Select Manage
Select the plus sign at Event Viewer under System Tools
Click "System" to see if there are any errors listed from the date you noticed your problem & post them back here
Do the same for "Applications" & "Security" categories in Event Viewer as you did for "System"
3. Just a little friendly advice, I would be reluctant to install Nortons my computer, it is a resource hog & there are programs out there that do a better job & are free(like AVG, Avast, Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware, etc.) plus they do not bog your system down like Nortons

AppName: explorer.exe

Thank you for the advice...downloading Spybot S&D right now.

I keep on finding this error throughout Applications:

Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.

There's other ones, but this is the most consistent.
