How old school are you?
    #4305065 - 06/16/05 08:55 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

I decided to play a game here, lets see how it goes. one person makes a statement about how old school they are and the next has to beat your statement by being even older school... For example

Person 1: I'm so old school I remember and still have a can of pepsi with the Red, blue and white design!
Person 2: I'm so older school I still have a bottle of Crystal Pepsi
Person 3: I'm the oldest school as I Remember 7up's Fido Dido!

you get the idea, it doesn't have to stay on the same topic, just has to go back to something before the last statement.

I'll start off with a really easy one to beat

I'm so old school I was one of the people banned from Napster by Metallica and Dr. Dre back when it was free and making headlines.

We had these really big apples.

I'd play Oregon Trail over and over and over and never get tired of it.

my dad had one when I was in my early grade school years, then I first seen a videocassette and I thought you could see pictures on it like a movie...but I was told later that it is like a big recording tape..but i was in second grade when I seen one first..
Iron maiden was one of my favorite metal bands back then and still is...I had a bad trip smoking pot watching the video "Wasted Years" a MTV video...it put me on a bad one, because all the "eddie" pictures on that video, it tripped me out...too much..but i only smoked weed 4 times before then...I was hearing voices and shit in my head, it was like I was tripping on acid or something, I started walking outside and up the sidewalk...and my friends went up the street to come get me and calm me down... :smirk:

(somehow I think this thread fell apart)

--------------------
The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.
