An interpretation I couldn't help thinking of in response to Rock, Paper, and Scissors:

There is no one real power, because for every great diety to arise there will be another to limit it. Whether they are forces, people, ideas, history, etc. there is a universal and natural checks and balance system which maintains the universe and keeps all stable.

It's possible natural selection is like a type of constantly shifting game of rock paper scissors. The difference is that rock may temporarily grow more powerful and kill off more scissors, but soon paper will rise to defeating rock again and scissors will evolve to becoming more resistant to rock, like an organic stairway of evolution between the predators and the prey.

We all know it's not truely random; humans do make some sort of decision when trying to trick others

I used to play with my ex and win ~80% of the time. Some people are easier to read than others.

Speaking of which, I've developed a serious interest in poker recently. Watch out Swami! :razz:
