Only 15 Republicans vs. 141 Democrats, supported the measure.
Gotta love those compassionate Christians who favor state's rights and care for the sick.

Pardon my lack of clarity. The House voted against protecting MMJ patients from federal prosecution.

Oh yeah... Rock on America, fuel the war on the people, terrorize their lives, make them live your way
When they need you, you will make them work, and you will take their money to fund your wars, and when they get old, and they get sick, you put them in jail
You Abandon them and watch them fold, inside your tease.
Why has it come to this?

...and when they get old,
Congress is gonna raise the retirement age for Social Security from 65 to 69.5. The theory goes: eventually the age will be raised high enough so that no one collects. Problem solved!
Remember, this is a government of, by and for the people, and we want the world to emulate us.

That's pretty much where the original threshold was set. A relatively small proportion of the population ever reached the age where they could collect. That was why the taxes were only around 1 or 2 percent instead of the 12.5 to 15.5 (if you count medicare) now.

I sincerely hope that this is merely conjecture

Thats the pont... Its like an insurance program. If you smoke, they will cut your benefits because you become a liability.
age is a definately liability! And its not a private company in this situation, its the social security administration of the government. Well, whatever IT is.
"We here in america want to help others, because it helps "everyone".
Sadly there are a lot of people under the impression that the government is looking out for their intersts, as well as everyone elses, when in fact it is a minority of people.
A democracy is only as truthful, honest, and democratic as the people who participate in it.
This may come as a shock to some, but with the quick realization of politics it becomes readily acessible to the pissed off section of the brain. lol

I try not to wish bad things on people, but I truely hope that every single person that voted against patient/doctor rights finds themselves or a loved one sick and lacking medicine in the future...
