and scissors beats paper.
What does this tell us of the structure of the Universe?

This isn't a direct response, but perhaps your question will be answered.
A few nights ago I went to my brother's LAN party, and a game we were playing had a maximum of 8 players with 9 of us wanting to play. So 3 of us did rock paper scissors to see which two would go.
So it was a game of 3 of us all at once, and we started- and continually got the same thing over and over. At least 10 times we all would get rock, then scissors, then paper. It was so insane, and I'm pretty sure I was stoned and laughing my ass off. How small of a probability would it be to have 3 people get the same thing that many rounds in a row?
After that, the universe never looked quite the same.

That once in every universe's existance it may call upon the powers of fire which render rock, paper, and scissors useless.

It tells us about the human vision of the universe, and such knowledge is pretty much irrelevant, at least to me
anyway, I can't believe how globalized the world is, we used to play the same geme when I was in elementary school

Either that, or there's some subconscious pattern to rock paper scissors. We all know it's not truely random; humans do make some sort of decision when trying to trick others, and I guess all three of us were so much alike we had the same thought processes going on.
Or somehow our brain's energy waves combined to form one consciousness which some could call "telepathy".

You were all using a similar strategy. I'm guessing you know eachother fairly well. It's happened to me before when determining who gets to hit the beer hammer first.

How small of a probability would it be to have 3 people get the same thing that many rounds in a row?
If it were totally random AND THE INTENDED RESULT, then it would be 3^10th power.
If it were merely a post hoc observation as it seems, the result would STATISTICALLY be no more meaningful than ANY OTHER COMBINATION.
If you were all SO STONED as to go RSP, RSP, RSP, R; that would only speak to the quality of that which you were smoking; i.e. being unable to break the preprogrammed pattern.

No, actually, only I was stoned. The other two people don't do drugs, and in fact no one knew I was stoned, so unless I projected my cannabis thoughts onto everyone else, I don't believe cannabis played a role in it.
Nor do I really know them that well; one of them I haven't seen for years, and the other I only know as an acquaintance.
Statistically, all possibilities have the same chance to come up. You have the same chance of getting heads, head, heads, heads, as you do getting a random chance of tails, heads, heads, tails or what have you. Unless there is a strategy to rock paper scissors and we all followed it, it may have just been one of those weird coincidences.
As for the original content of the post, it means that human created games tend to try to be fair. In reality, I've never seen paper beat rock, or rock beat scissors.

What would kevlar do to a boulder other than stop any bullets aimed at it?
Or for that matter, what would paper to a rock? I guess it doesn't matter in that context.

Next time you need to decide something among friends, I suggest playing pokey. Probably the most spectator friendly decision making game ever.
