I was thinking of the kind "skunk" bud I was getting at the time...it was kind of insantanious thought actually, becuse i wasn't going to post much with this screen name...I was mainly gonna be a lurker and use it for mushroom growing tips..I started posting crap in OTD..that is where i started, but my original name was "scott4758bc" or something like that...but I like this one, because I can mimic 'pepe le pew' I think he is a good icon to use because he is so laid back........But anyhow..I would grow,,,but I have legal problems now, so I am not going to "grow" any time soon anyway...

I had tripped on mushrooms with my girlfriend a week and a half before I reg'd and we had listened to the Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.  We took a good dose of shrooms and walked along the Brooklyn Bridge listening to it out of a boombox.  The song One More Robot (Sympathy 3000-21) became burned in my brain - it's about a robot that learns to become more than a machine, and the first emotion that it learns is sympathy for other beings.

(This is a good idea for a thread. :thumbup:)

My usual nick is buckthesystem but i dicked up the reg process (confirmation e-mail got deleted as spam D'oh!) so had to come up with something new. so i shortened psychomimetic (which is another term for psychoactive, which i read in PIHKAL) to psychomime which had a nice ring to it.

Well my first username, WildCard; was deleted b/c of a corrupt file so I had to re-registered and since I could use WildCard i decided to get my revenge! MUAHAHAh... or something. Everyone just calls me WCR now though and I likes it fine.
WildCard was the first username I ever used and its because you never know what I am going to do next... although I am pretty laid back truth be told.

I needed to ask a cultivation question, so I registered. Every name I tried had already been taken. After trying everything else, I tried "learyfan" and it worked. I didn't care how dumb the name sounded. I was just going to ask a question or two and be done with this site.........

Don't remember exactly how I came up with it. It just suited the way I approach life. I am always trying to reach the highest point. I doesn't matter if I'm climbing a mountain or taking drugs. I am always trying to reach the summit and I hate to stop before I get there.

Indeed, but you can't reach the summit and never come down. There's never been a person to my knowledge who's reached his highest point of happiness and stayed there for the rest of his life, unless the rest of his life was very short. Mine comes from a Hallucinogen song called The Herb Garden. There is a sample in the song saying:

my old email acount was overloaded with spam, and I was at the library makeing a new acount so I could be spam free. I was with one of my roomates at the time and we were both on a low dose of 5-meo-AMT, and pretty high. (we tripped all over that town, the library was no big deal) anyway, I'm high, and getting all this, seemingly, meaningless insight from the drug, and I look to my friend and say "man, this stuff is just full of empty wisdom, is'nt it?" and we both had quite a laugh. So I put that down as my e-mail address. I don't like to think too hard about most things, so I use the same name for everything I sign up for. So emptywisdom it is. Simple enough. Easy for me to remember.

I, too, came here just for a few cultivation questions. I happened to be reading Fast Food Nation at the time. In it, it brings up the fact that if you're a meat eater you have more than likely eaten shit, piss, and vomit with your meat. But it's safe because it has been treated with radiation to kill the bacteria. right?
It was a nick on a whim. I'd shorten it to just Irradiated if I could.

P.S. I'm a meat eater. mmmm irradiated feces. :drooling:

Back around the year 2000-2001 my friend and I came across this album:



It's pretty good. French hip hop/rap. Anyways, I was thinking about shrooms one day and got on the net and did a search and found this site. I decided I would try to grow after lurking around, doing research and realizing it was something I could do in the future. At the time I was living with my parents and really couldn't grow there so my friend and I were thinking of ways we could do it. We thought about renting one of those climate controlled storage spaces and set up shop. But we learned they didn't provided electrical outlets (which would have been used for the fans that would blow O2 into the terrariums, etc. but it became too complicated).

Anyways, I came up with the idea that this was The Mighty Bop. Bop was a combination of boomer (ie. mushrooms, the b, which by the way I thought we created but it turns out other people thought of using that code word) and op (operation), so the whole thing would be called The Mighty Boomer Op, but we shortened it to just The Mighty Bop, I guess to honor the artist we liked. We were always big on code words and stuff so this was no exception. Anyways, I decided to use it as my username when I registered :smile: Damn I'm so clever and awesome!!!
