I just bought my wife...
    #4298490 - 06/15/05 09:10 AM (18 years, 9 months ago)

...tickets to a Coldplay show in Dallas.

I've never been a big fan of them (I don't think they're bad, I just haven't realy got into them) and I hate when people compare them to Radiohead.

I figure the best way to see what they're like is to go see them live. Anyway, she's excited.

Anyone been?

Yeah, they're really good live, they really get into their music and unless you really hate them, it's easy to get into their music. I would even say dose a little bit, but that's up to you.

They're really "chill"

Making the noise "penicillin" is no substitute for actually taking penicillin.

I thought about it. Maybe a gram or two. I'm thinking I'll just sit out on the lawn on my blanket and :spliff: though.

I don't hate them at all. I just haven't really listened to much of them. I have their first CD and it's pretty good.

They're a great band with tasteful arrangements.  But this last album is teh suck, and when I saw them at Coachella it was really...:whatever:.  Have a good time though, molly's a solid idea.

I thought you were going to say you bought a wife, Gair-style.

Definitely not. Chris Martin's too much of a jackass when he talks.

Chris Martin sits down at the piano after the band finishes a song.

"You'll...you'll all have to pardon me, I'm a horrible public speaker. It's a side effect of being terribly ugly, you know, we all have it."

Blah blah

Lots of self-effacing comments that are way too much "we're not good enough for you!" He's really whiny..

I can deal with that I guess. Molly sounds like the best bet! Maybe some ganja.

:yesnod:

Plus I'll be out in the lawn seats with my blanket and all of the other people so I'll probably be walking around rolling and seeing who has the softest blanket for me to rub myself on.

My first roll ever was at a rave and it was fucking great.  The DJ Spacegirl was playing a set on this elevated DJ stand and me, my friend Eileen, and her roommate Kristen all climbed under the DJ stand and were sitting there. It was perfect high so that she was standing right above our heads mixing the records. People had stuck all of their jackets and bags under there so we were like reclining on this one huge pillow essentially.

I start digging my hands through all the jackets not looking for things, just feeling, and all of a sudden my eyes BUGGED OUT!

I found fur...and pulled out this jacket with completely soft fur lining on the inside.  I ended up putting my arms in the sleeves and wearing it backwards.
