possible LSD problems
    #4296152 - 06/14/05 06:18 PM (18 years, 10 months ago)

so ive had 2 hits of good acid off of a white "10 strip" in aliminum foil on my possession for about 5 days, it has probably had alot of contact with air, but has mostly remained in the foil.  i definitely will be licking the hell out of the foil... what are the chances that i will not trip?? :frown:

I've heard that storing blotter in foil will ruin the potency of LSD. I experienced this firsthand a few weeks ago when I ate 2 ohms that a friend was storing in foil and did not get high. A couple weeks prior to that I ate 2 hits from the same sheet and I got spun.

I keep my doses in nothing BUT foil. I've never had a potentcy problem from it either. I'm sure if you had 2 white doses ( especially if they are the same white ones I'm gettting) you'll trip pretty damn hard from 2.

Just plain white unlined blotter. Very thick oily glaze over it. Sometimes it's lined with pen other's dude was too lazy to do it. 2 hits is great. Planning on eating 2 and a half three, which should be interesting considering 2 is damn near ego death.

The L should be embedded in the paper for the most part...maybe some on the surface but not too much. I see no reason why aluminum would react with the LSD to render it inert, everyone I know has never had a problem.

Agreed. Iv never personally had a problem with it. Iv never stored paper in anything other than foil pressed really tight, then wrapped again in ceran wrap.

The best way IMO to store blotter is to first wrap it in cellophane then wrap it in foil and just put it in a thick book in a cool dark place.
I have stored blotter like this for over a year and its still good to this day.

i always put my blotter in one of those little sealable plastic bag things, wrap that in foil, then put it in the fridge. i kept some hits for 10 months like that and they were still as potent as ever when i ate them.

I have some 20 white tabs sitting in aluminum foil in a book, in a cool dark place near my AC vent

Always stored mine in foil... never had a problem with potency.

When I could get my hands on a sheet, I'd hide it in various places.  Sometimes I'd be tearing my place apart looking for hidden hits

Once I had a ten hit strip of Woodstock blotter fall out of a philosophy book... where I had hid it 3 years previously, not even wrapped in anything.    Other than the color being slightly darker, you'd think it was fresh.  Didn't notice any potency difference.  It was during a particularly dry spell as well, needless to say I was elated... and quite high for a couple of weekends  :crazy2:

Yeh I've heard mixed shit about the foil.

My storage:

Level 1: dimebag
Level 2: dimebag put in foil
Level 3: foil-wrapped dimebag put in half-size ziploc bag
Level 4: half-size ziploc bag put in full size ziploc bag that has silica gel in it to keep moisture out
Level 5: Tupperware
LEvel 6: Freezer
