Hey guys,
I'm a long time reader, first time poster. I saw some caps growing this morning, and unfortunately I didn't get to grab them since I was rushing to work. However, I did my best to find a few caps once I was finished work (9:30pm and quite dark). In hopes of receiving a positive ID, I tried to take some decent pictures for you veterans to glance at. I'm aware that there are two different types of mush in the pictures. They were both growing on a lawn in short grass. If you have trouble IDing from the pictures, I'll write up a description. Thanks!

they kinda look like psathyrella foenisecii need a description

Bruising isn't too apparent. The flatter caps seem to be changing color rapidly, but I wouldn't really consider the color change to be bluish.

Ok do not attempt to ID mushrooms if you do not know what your talking about you do not have the knowledge to properly id Please do not eat the mushrooms until one of the Verified shroomerites gives you a positive if , and he was trying to refer to Panaleus Foensci , However if you want a positive id id suggest you go read the sticks about a Proper id description , we will need to know spore print color , length of steam , width of cap , bruising if any , also what substrate ( habitat ) they were found in , however seems you have a few diff species in there , P S spore printing is easily done by removing the stem on the cap , placing it face down on a white piece of paper and put a cup over it so the spores dont blow away , also need to know if the gills are attached thanks ..

A little more info:

Southeastern PA, found in grass. Given the location, there's pretty much only four possibilities. The mush with the flatter caps resemble Pan Subbs if anything. I'll try to find bigger/better specimens tomorrow. Any thoughts from some of you hunting vets?

Pics are very yellow distorted. See if you can remove some of the yellow (easy with image editing software, or photoshop or similar application) or take more pictures without using the flash. Some digicams have software on them that remove the yellow. And like PSiFr33k said, we need a good description.
Take spore prints for sure. And from the obvious similarity in the specimens, be sure to spore print all of them.

You've got a mixed collection. The ones with the cone shaped caps are some species of Conocybe, a genus which contains a few poisonous mushrooms. The others are a text book case of the inactive Panaeolina foensecii or similar Panaeolina species.

These mushrooms are particularly easy to ID on their own, but in the future be sure to get prints and provide all the other details we need(outlined in the rules thread) to make an ID.

ill agree with you gumby (100% on the conocybes), but i cant really tell from the pics.
