Would horse shit be a good medium for a dung/compost casing layer? Or is some other type of dung better, or does it not matter. If it makes any difference to what the horses eat, I think its alfalfa (?), the green hay looking stuff :wink:

Yes horse poo is the best as afr as I am concerned there is a post called "Why I choose horse dung" I think and explains about using horse poo
